Keep your collection across devices
Sign in to analyze cards and save your private evidence. Passwords are memory-hard hashed, sessions use secure cookies, and account data can be exported or deleted.
Free grading supports model development. Every new submitted scan and its feedback may be used to train and evaluate BAO models under the free-service terms. Your photographs stay private; BAO does not take ownership of your card or artwork.

Free online card grading, with evidence you can inspect
BAO Grade helps you review trading card condition from original front and back photographs. Use it for Pokémon card pre-grading, centering inspection and a closer look at visible corner, edge and surface wear. Your report includes a provisional BAO Grade, subgrades, confidence and guidance when another photograph is needed.
A photo-based estimate helps you prepare for closer inspection. It does not authenticate your card or guarantee the grade PSA, TAG, CGC, BGS or SGC will assign. Glare, sleeves, slabs and hidden damage can limit the evidence.
Card grading questions
Start with clear photos, then read the evidence behind the number.
Is BAO card grading free?
Yes. Create an account and accept the free-service terms. No payment card is required. Fair-use limits are 5 scans per minute and 50 per day. Free access supports data collection: future submitted scans and feedback may be used privately for reviewed model development, training and evaluation.
Can I use BAO to inspect Pokémon cards?
Use clear front and back photographs to inspect visible condition. English and Japanese layouts, foil reflections and borderless designs can limit identification or centering measurements. Follow recapture guidance and inspect uncertain areas directly. Read our Pokémon card inspection guide.
How do I check card centering?
Centering compares opposing printed borders on the physical card. An angled photograph can distort the apparent widths. BAO attempts perspective correction before measurement, but cropped corners and unclear printed boundaries still create uncertainty. Learn about centering ratios and camera perspective.
Will BAO predict an official grading-company grade?
BAO is a photographic pre-grading tool and is not calibrated to reproduce professional company grades. A photo can hide dents, scratches or authenticity issues. Read what AI photos can and cannot tell you before making a submission decision.
How should I photograph my card?
Keep every edge and corner visible, place the card flat on a contrasting background, and use soft light. Photograph both sides with the camera approximately parallel to the card. Upload original images without filters. Our card photography guide explains glare, blur and holders.
Does each scan instantly train the model?
New successful scans enter a private review queue under the required terms. They do not immediately change deployed model weights. Training needs appropriate rights, independent annotations and validation. See BAO methodology and model updates.
Inspect the card before you submit it.
Use BAO for free AI-assisted pre-grading, Pokémon card inspection, centering checks and practical capture guidance. Each tool links the result back to visible evidence so you can decide what deserves a closer look.
Inspect defects before you trust the number.
Use the condition checker, Pokémon centering guide, PSA pre-grading checklist and defect library to understand what the camera and the physical card are actually showing.
